The Venue at d’Olyfboom is ideally situated for Conferences as it is central and in Paarl town and makes it very accessible to all the delegates to attend, giving them a choice of the best guesthouse in the area to overnight at and is also easily accessible from Cape Town.

The Conference Centre can host eighty people or sixty in a schoolroom setup and forty if we cater in the boardroom. Half day or full day options make our venue ideal for teambuilding sessions or management days. We also provide your clients or delegates with coffee on arrival, a mid morning tea break, delicious lunches and mid-afternoon refreshments. This can be arranged to your tailor-made needs to accommodate everyone’s unique requests.

The layout of the Conference area is entirely the decision of the client and company, determined by the size of the gathering. d’Olyfboom provides all the needed standard equipment for hosting your conference here, this included Data projectors, White boards, Internet and a sound systems that is for your perusal. Specialized equipment can be arranged in advance and we can see that it is installed and ready for use. Our staff will assist in the organisation and set-up for your conference the day before and we are dedicated to making it a professional and well organised function.

The potential for the success of your organisations to communicate with the employees, management or delegates during a workshop or corporate conference is entirely reliant on the well managed venue where it is hosted. Weddings

Your special day is just as important to us , as it is to you! The beautiful setting of d’Olyfboom Estate is perfect for a country wedding providing you with the backdrop of the mountains and vineyards that makes this area in the Cape so popular. The venue is unique because it is laid out on the slopes of the Paarl Mountain, providing you with stunning views all around you that will make your wedding photo’s magnificent. Well manicured gardens and perfectly maintained historical buildings on the Estate is an added bonus that provides for interesting photo opportunities.

The wedding on site ceremony facility lends itself to hosting your entire wedding at the estate, take photos in our beautifully laid out gardens and entertain your guests in our old Cape Style buildings. A 1958 Silver Cloud Rolls Royce is also available to add to the old time ambience.

The layout of the function area can host up to hundred guests, depending on your choice of spaces available. The large full length windows in the dining hall accentuate the views and opens up onto an outside area which can be used for various options. The Oude Cellar is where the wedding ceremony can be hosted and has a wonderful authentic aura that makes your wedding day extra special.

You can choose from our pre-selected menu or request a tailor made menu, depending on the availability of seasonal products as we choose to provide our clients with only the freshest ingredients and locally produced products. All the catering is done at d’Olyfboom Estates well equipped kitchens and therefore there is no problem to pack or transport food or risk a delivery shortfall.

In summer the sunny open skies and outside gardens invite you to host your wedding under the trees and surrounded by the mountain views while the cool breeze lifts off the slope to keep it airy and fresh. The venue hall is built with this in mind too, opening up into the lovely gardens. Air conditioning is also available if the Cape summer heat is too high, and the bar always has ice cold drinks on offer.

A winter option also enticing, with our large fireplace inside keeping everyone warm and making your celebration a cosy affair. The Cape winters can become magical with White Mountain tops on the horizon and the warm glow from the fireplace…
